MultiVersus serves frantic bridal showers on small platforms, just as players know from Nintendo’s popular fighting game series. There will of course be certain differences, such as the figure gallery.

Developer Player First Games has brought in a slew of famous characters from the Warner universe. Here we find everything from Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman to Spinning Bounce, Game of Thrones tough guy Arya Stark and Shaggy from Scooby-Doo.

The game also features voice acting from several of the characters’ original actors. Such as Maisie Williams for Arya Stark, Matthew Lillard for Shaggy and Kevin Conroy for Batman. Player First further promises that more characters will be added eventually.

In terms of gaming, MultiVersus stands out by being designed for collaborative gaming. Two players can team up in team mode, using for example shields or smoke bombs to help each other to victory. For those who prefer to play alone, the developers also promise 1-on-1 modes and all-against-all for four players.
