Friday afternoon has been characterized by a lot of weather in the form of strong winds in several places in the country. This has meant, among other things, that the emergency network and the telephone network are down in Numedal, Hallingdal and parts of Ringerike, according to Vestre Viken Helseforetak.

The situation creates challenges for the emergency services. At 18.45, the South-East police district announced on Twitter that an ambulance with blue lights would be on in Flå, at McDonalds, due to a lack of mobile phone coverage.
– If someone needs emergency health care, they can contact this, the police wrote.

Ringerike fire also announced on Twitter that they had received many messages on trapped photos and people, due to trees that had fallen in the roadway.
– To you who are sitting in cars and waiting for help: We are on our way, they wrote.
On Thursday, the Meteorological Institute issued an orange warning for gusts of wind in Agder, Telemark, Buskerud and the Inland. The danger warning has been valid since early Friday.
