Version 1.7 update for PUBG Mobile distributed on last Tuesday (16/11), and new things in it include the collaboration with League of Legends.
In this update, there is a new gameplay that is the result of collaboration with the animated series League of Legends, namely Arcane. Plus there are tons of new playable characters, complete with mysterious storylines.
A character with various abilities, players will travel between Erangel, Piltover, and Zaun as one of the most famous champions of the animated series Arcane.
The Version 1.7 update also brings new gameplay features, a carry function, a new system where players can carry friends who are being knocked out, new outfits, Cyber Week discounts, and many more surprises that will be revealed later.
By selecting ‘themed mode’ while playing the Classic game on Erangel, players will discover a huge and mysterious floating Mirror Island. At the start of the game, Mirror Island can be explored by players looking for items, weapons and supplies.
However, as the game progresses, Mirror Island will activate and become very unstable. Players who come into contact with the Wind Wall will be transported to Piltover or Zaun, two iconic cities from League of Legends.
Players who land on the currently active Mirror Island will also be able to transform into iconic Champions such as characters Jinx, Vi, Jayce, or Caitlyn, and use unique weapons and skills to battle against other players. The losing player will return to Erangel in its original form.
In addition to fighting and exploring in these new areas, players can also interact with the Champions to uncover clues to what’s going on in the world of Arcane, and help the Champions return to their own world before it’s too late.
Unfortunately, Enforcers, Firelights, and Berserker’s have also entered the world of PUBG Mobile, and players must stop them from causing havoc.
Using the Hex Shards and other equipment obtained in the given missions, players can solve various mysterious stories and return the Champions Jinx, Vi, Jayce, and Caitlyn back to the world of Runeterra.
Hex shards can also be used to purchase battle gear such as the new Stimulant Pack, which gives players the ability to restore health after defeating enemies, and Landing Packs, which give players the ability to glide.
From November 23 to January 3, players can also collect Exploration Progress by playing matches on Mirror Island or Classic Mode, and earn Arcane-exclusive emotes and items, and bring back the ultimate Arcane Champion.
