Ávoris Corporación Empresarial and the Department of Economic Model, Tourism and Labor of the Government of the Balearic Islands, through their Tourism Strategy Agency, have reached an agreement so that the networks of travel agencies integrated in Ávoris, Halcón Viajes, B the travel brand and Viajes Ecuador, carry out a promotional campaign during the months of November and December of this year to promote the islands of Mallorca and Ibiza through their own and external means.
During this 2021, the Tourism Strategy Agency of the Balearic Islands (AEITB) has been developing a strategic plan with the aim of offering a framework of public-private collaboration that allows joining efforts to improve connectivity and promote the commercialization of the Balearic Islands, after the harsh impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the tourism sector.
In order to promote the connectivity plans of the Balearic Islands and favor the occupation of the tourist accommodation offer, Halcón Viajes, B the travel brand and Viajes Ecuador, which constitute the largest network of travel agencies in Spain, with more than 1,500 offices, which have the most advanced management tools in the sector, have agreed to launch a strategic co-marketing campaign together with the AETIB, which will take place during the months of November and December in promotional actions through the media. own and third parties of exclusive product and associated content to promote and viralize the islands of Mallorca and Ibiza in the digital environment, with the aim of increasing the number of tourists visiting these two islands of the Balearic archipelago and improving the perception of the brand of both, so that this acts as a traction element for the increase in demand.
On the occasion of this agreement, Francesc Mateu, director, manager of the Tourism Strategy Agency of the Balearic Islands, has stated that: “With this strategic co-marketing agreement it is intended to improve the air connectivity of the Balearic Islands with the rest of the Spanish market, as well as favoring the tourist activity, the economy and the occupation in the low season ”.
