New York (AP) – Rookie Franz Wagner is getting along better and better in the NBA and has helped Orlando Magic win over the New York Knicks.
The 20-year-old Berliner recorded 16 points and nine rebounds at 104: 98 in Madison Square Garden, making him the second best thrower in his team. His brother Moritz Wagner contributed six points to only the third win of the season for the young team from Florida.
Meanwhile, Dennis Schröder and Daniel Theis lost again. Schröder and the Boston Celtics came to a 99: 110 at the Atlanta Hawks and missed the opportunity to post a positive record for the first time this season. The record champions have seven wins and eight defeats, Schröder got 15 points. Theis had already suffered their 13th defeat with the Rockets – no other team in the NBA has been without success anywhere near as long as the Texans, who lost 89: 101 in the Oklahoma City Thunder. Theis had ten points, five rebounds and two assists from the bench.
