Thijs Dallinga is currently performing excellently at Excelsior. The top scorer of the first division has already scored 17 goals. Former coach Rob Jacobs is deeply impressed by Dallinga and tips Feyenoord.
“Feyenoord has to pick him up this summer,” Jacobs told Algemeen Dagblad. The 21-year-old shows that he is ready for a step. “He is very smart, knows exactly what to do. There are very few of them even in the Premier League. He’s just a great striker.”
”Bozeník can’t even tie Dallinga’s laces, he’s really better on all fronts. Of course you can say: he is now doing it in the Kitchen Champion Division, but I am convinced that he would be a bull’s eye for Feyenoord. That Dallinga is simply a feast for the eyes.”
Harry van der Laan agrees: ”He can certainly handle that level. He will also score his goals there, because even in the Eredivisie they are screwing around at the back. He has already shown that he has enough qualities to punish that. The question is to what extent he is mentally ready to take on a competition. At Excelsior he is just the regular man. Maybe he needs to be a little more vicious for that.”
