Tangerang Regency, IDN Times – Cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever in Tangerang Regency have increased. This makes the Tangerang Regency Government ask the hospital to be aware of a surge in patients.
Head of the P2P Division of the Tangerang District Health Office, Hendra Tarmizi, said that his party had socialized the increase in cases to hospitals in Tangerang Regency.
“We have distributed alert letters to all health centers and hospitals for this extraordinary occurrence of dengue fever. So we have to prepare infrastructure for this at the hospital,” said Hendra, Thursday (11/18/2021).
Hendra said that currently, there are 82 cases of people infected with dengue in one month. This is data as of October 2021.
“Previously there were 268 cases, now there are 350 cases,” explained Hendra.

Hendra said, as far as 2021, there have not been any cases of DHF patients who died. However, he asked the public to be vigilant and apply 3M, especially during this rainy season.
“Draining the bathtub, closing all water reservoirs, and burying used items that can collect rainwater because it can cause mosquitoes to breed,” he said.
