Shortly after confirming the implementation of the Take a Break feature, Instagram chief Adam Mosseri announced in a video yesterday that the company has added two new features to improve user experience, including a “Rage Shake” which will allow users to report a problem more quickly. This feature will encourage you to express your frustration by shaking your smartphone.
Indeed, if you encounter a bug in the Instagram application or the social network is down, which happens quite frequently, it will suffice to shake your smartphone to bring up a window allowing you to quickly report problems technical or malfunctions.

Instagram will make it possible to delete photos from a carousel
The second feature announced by Adam Mosseri is the possibility delete content within a carousel, be it a photo or a video. On Instagram, it is possible to post multiple photos at the same time, and they then appear in the same post as slides.
However, if you regret posting an image in these carousels, whether it’s because the photo doesn’t appeal to you anymore or it shows someone you’re no longer friends with, until now it was not possible to delete a single photo from a carousel. Instagram has now provided the solution to this problem by adding an option to delete a particular photo, rather than having to delete the entire carousel.
Users will be able to simply click on the three-dot menu at the top right of a post, select “edit,” then drag to the photo they want to delete and tap the delete icon in the top left corner. .
For now, not all Instagram users will have access to these two new features. Indeed, Adam Mosseri specifies that initially, the “Rage Shake” will only be available in the United States on Android and iOS, and that the option for removing a photo from a carousel was currently only available on iOS, and that it would arrive later on Android. It will therefore be necessary to be patient before seeing them arrive in France. In the meantime, Instagram recently added some other cool features, including text-to-speech and voice modifiers on Reels.
