“By providing our customers with genuine Apple parts, we give them even more choice when it comes to repairs,” said Jeff Williams, Apple’s chief operating officer in a press release. “In the past three years, Apple has nearly doubled the number of repair points that work with genuine Apple parts, tools and training. Now we offer our customers who like to do repairs themselves the opportunity to do that.”
