Dani Alves starts his second career with Barcelona. And just like with a new player, an official presentation is part of that.
The 38-year-old Brazilian enjoyed it to the fullest. Just like in 2008, when he came over from Sevilla, he did so in his slippers.
“You can change a lot of things, but not everything,” Alves grinned. He did kick off his footwear to enter the sacred grass of Camp Nou.
“I’m back,” he added. “During my last presentation, I didn’t know when my dream would end. Well, I’m here again and I’m still living my dream.”
“I’m not here on holiday. I was born to be first, not to finish second. I will fight like I always have.”
“You make me feel special,” he captivated the supporters. “I feel like one of you. That will never change. Live Barça, long live Catalonia,” he concluded his charm offensive.
