Tidal is thus ready for the price war in hi-fi streamingg that has been launched by most streaming services. Tidal Premium thus changes its name to Tidal HiFi.
Atmos and Sony 360
Current HiFi customers also get their subscription upgraded, to Tidal HiFi Plus. This is done with what Tidal calls “Innovative Audio Formats”. The musicians that the individual user plays the most get a larger share of the pie when royalties are paid out.
