Shesar Hiren Rhustavito Advances to Second Round

Indonesia’s representative in the second round Indonesia Masters 2021 increase. Indonesian men’s singles, Shesar Hiren Rhustavito, won in the first round.

Shesar Hiren faced India’s single, Sai Praneeth at the Bali International Convention Center, Nusa Dua, in the first round of the Indonesia Masters 2021, Wednesday (17/11/2021).

In the first game, Shesar immediately left Sai from the start of the game. Even Indonesia’s single lagged 5-11. The first game was then completed by Sai through a 21-16 victory.

In the second game, Shesar began to retaliate. The 27-year-old badminton player in turn won with a score of 21-14.

In the deciding game, the match was tight. Shesar was leading 11-5 during the break, before being chased to 19-19 towards the end.

Shesar then ensured victory with a score of 22-20. He became the fourth representative of Indonesia to qualify for the second round Indonesia Masters 2021. In the second round, Shesar will face Kunlavut Vitidsarn, who previously eliminated Anthony Sinisuka Ginting.

Previously, mixed doubles Hafiz Faizal/Gloria Emanuelle also won the second round ticket, after defeating the Indian pair, Reddy B. Sumeeth/Ashwini Ponnappa 21-15, 21-16. He followed Jonatan Christie and men’s doubles Panjer Aji Saloka/Bryan Sydney.
