A father, a mother and four girls have been intercepted aboard a boat on a Calpe beach, which has been the fifth of the six located in the last hours in the province of Alicante with at least 73 immigrants. The last boat has been located on Isla Mitjana, in Benidorm, with 13 people.
The Alicante Red Cross has informed Efe that there were four more men in the boat in which the family was traveling (a total of ten people) and that it has been detected at the height of the Manzanera beach in Calpe. The minors are between the ages of 5 and 14.
This is the fifth precarious boat sighted in the last hours on the Alicante coast, three of them during Saturday afternoon by the Salvamar Mirfak of Salvamento Marítimo about 70 kilometers south of Alicante with a total of 41 men in good conditions of Health. Of them, three were minors.
