Pop star Harry Styles (27) launches his own collection of nail polishes to help others feel good.

The former One Direction star launched his own cosmetics brand called Pleasing on Monday. And so it’s about fingerprints – in the first place.
In a long interview with the magazine Dazed Styles explains that it had to be nail polish, because that was where the idea “was born”. For several years now, the British have received attention for their distinctive, trend-setting style, including for their decorated nails.
– It is the case that if I see a color on a flower or a wallpaper, then I think that «I want such nails». It has been a fun little project, but during the pandemic, and when we finally gave it the name Pleasing, it felt like something much bigger than nail polish, says the 27-year-old.

Styles poses on the front of Dazed and over several pages inside the magazine. In several of the photos, he wears colorful skirts and dresses. This is not the first time.
–Last year, the artist attracted attention by being first man to adorn the cover of the fashion bible Vogue – just wearing a dress.
– It’s funny, because I do not see myself as a fashion icon, Styles says in the recent magazine interview.
He explains that with his new collection he wants to “help people feel beautiful”.
However, Styles does not think that being beautiful or feeling beautiful is about appearance. Instead, he believes that people who are happy and glowing, radiate in a certain way. It is the goal, he says, that his products should help people find that glow.
–When asked when he himself feels best, Styles answers:
– Hmm, when I feel most beautiful? Inside me I want to say when I have finished a meditation or something. Or maybe when I sleep.
Styles also says in the interview that he has become more confident in himself and in life in general. When he broke through in the pop arena as a 16-year-old, he went with fear that everything would stop. He was unsure who he was if One Direction was to split, and he was left alone.
Today, Styles is one of the former members who has been most successful with his solo career.
– Today it is no longer a scary thought that people may not like my music, as it was before. It feels good and liberating. I do not work out of fear, he says.
