Unterföhring, November 15, 2021 – Leon Draisaitl once again played a major role in the Edmonton Oilers’ eleventh win of the season. With one goal and two assists – the last of them 23 seconds before the end to a decisive 5: 4 – the Cologne player helped his team to win over the St. Louis Blues. In addition, Draisaitl leads the list of goalscorers with 15 goals. He wants to continue his strong run against the Winnipeg Jets. Sky will broadcast the game live on Wednesday night from 2 a.m. on Sky Sport 1.
Two NHL games on Saturday night
On Saturday evening at particularly attractive airtime, Sky commentator Olivier Zwartyes welcomes viewers from 7:00 p.m. on Sky Sport 5 when the Ottawa Senators receive the New York Rangers. Then the Tampa Bay Lightning meet the New Jersey Devils. Christoph Stadtler comments on the match.
The Tampa Bay Lightning can play again the next day, then against Minnesota Wild (live from 11 p.m. on Sky Sport 1). This is followed by the game between the Seattle Kraken and the Washington Capitals, which round off the weekend.
Up to and including 2024/25, Sky will broadcast around 300 games live per season. With this, Sky will offer its customers more NHL encounters than ever before shown on German television.
Even fans who missed the live broadcasts or who want to watch more NHL ice hockey in addition to single games in full length will have the opportunity to do so on Sky in the future.
