The city of Rezé pays up to 50 euros to residents who plant a tree in their garden

In order to encourage the “revegetation” of the municipality, including on private land, the town of Rezé, in the Nantes suburbs, launched an original approach this fall. It offers its inhabitants to help them financially to buy a tree or a shrub, so that it can be planted in their garden.

Concretely: a reimbursement of half the price of the tree is offered to Rezéens until December 17. This “purchase aid” is limited to 50 euros per tree and per household (per address).

Choice of 80 local species

You should also choose a tree species from a list of about 80 local species. We find in particular maple trees, birches, lime trees, oaks, ash trees, photinias but also some fruit trees (fig, apple, medlar…). To benefit from it, you must complete the participation form by attaching the invoice.

In the same spirit, the city of Rezé provides financial support to groups and associations carrying concrete collective garden projects. Up to 80% of the total amount of the project, capped at 500 euros per collective, can be supported by the municipality.
