The Ministry of Health reported that 28 communes in Chile will go back on Wednesday in the “Step by Step” plan, 26 of them to Phase 3, of “Preparation”:
- Atacama region: Huasco and Caldera
- Coquimbo Region: Paihuano
- Valparaíso Region: Zapallar, Olmué, Viña del Mar, Valparaíso and Hijuelas
- O’Higgins Region: Litueche
- Maule region: Paved and San Clemente
- Ñuble Region: Chillán and Chillán Viejo
- Bio bio region: Quilaco, Antuco, Tomé, Coronel and Florida
- Araucania region: Toltén, Perquenco, Purén, Villarrica and Pucón
- River region: Mafil
- Los Lagos Region: Rio Negro and Puyehue

There are two communes that regress to Phase 2, of “Transition”: Petorca and Algarrobo, both belonging to the Valparaíso Region.

The communes that advance on Wednesday at 05:00 in the morning are six: one to “Preparation” (Tocopilla, Antofagasta Region) and five to “Initial Opening”, Phase 4 of Step by Step:

- Ñuble Region: Ñiquén
