During two intense days at the Stockholm Fair, the five finalists created a total of five cakes, 30 pastries and ten plate desserts each. The jury was impressed by Kleih’s craftsmanship, as well as by his interpretation of the theme.
The main role was played by Kasper Kleih’s spectacular “tornado” cake.
With this year’s winner, we get to see an interpretation of the theme Phenomenon that is absolutely phenomenal. With focus and determination, the winner, with great craftsmanship and world-class precision, has delivered an elegant table where all the senses and elements can take place in the light “, was the jury’s motivation.
– I am incredibly happy, as I aimed to win, it feels great to take home the gold. My feeling for the day was like my interpretation of today’s theme, to begin with the phenomenon of light that gave a calm before the incipient storm and end with the cyclone that sweeps in with all its might and take everything home, says Kasper Kleih in a press release.
Andreas Modd from Bollnäs came second and Jimmy Wollberg from Olofstorp came third.
