TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – Deputy Minister of Health RI Dante Saksono Harbuwono reminded the importance of early detection to prevent diabetes.
This was expressed in commemoration of World Diabetes Day which falls on November 14.
According to Dante, doing treatment diabetes in the early stages can reduce the risk of developing other complications.
“Treat diabetes It’s not just treating the blood sugar level, but the most important thing is to prevent complications,” said Dante in a virtual press conference for World Diabetes Day 2021, Monday (15/11/2021).
The Indonesian Ministry of Health together with BPJS Health has a Basic Health Needs (KDK) program that can be used by the public to check blood sugar regularly.
