AC Milheirós player falls inanimate after violent aggression from opponent – Futebol Nacional

Miguel Sousa, AC Milheirós player, suffered serious injuries this Sunday after being violently attacked by an ARDC athlete Gondim Maia, during a match at Pedrouços stadium, in Maia, counting for the championship of Honor Division of the Porto Football Association. According to AC Milheiros, Miguel Sousa, 22, was brutally attacked by an opposing player, in a fortuitous move, leaving him inanimate. The athlete was assisted, on the field, by a team from the emergency and resuscitation medical vehicle. After being stabilized, he was taken by firefighters from Pedrouços, to the hospital of S. João, in Porto. Apparently, Miguel Sousa, in the next few hours, will be the target of surgical interventions on his nose and one hand.
