Nearly 200 unvaccinated healthcare workers have been suspended without pay for refusing to be tested for COVID-19 for nearly a month.
This is the observation made by La Presse after consulting the data of 19 establishments which have agreed to publish the number of employees affected by the measure.
A decree adopted on October 15 requires nursing staff who are not adequately vaccinated to undergo a screening test 3 times a week.
The CISSS des Laurentides tops the list, with a total of 40 employees suspended for refusing to comply with this obligation.
