D66 medium Sigrid Kaag will personally ensure that the divisions in Dutch society come to an end. In its own words, D66 will personally ensure that the “vicious circle of polarization in society” will be a thing of the past. Kaag also wants to break through the fragmentation in politics. Below is a report of the most spiritual D66 conference to date.
Roughly speaking, most Dutch people will have completely missed it, but on Saturday there was a spiritual D66 meeting. Often not interesting enough to report on, unless someone within that party makes crazy statements. Such as recently through the ‘new leadership’ of the self-proclaimed political healer Sigrid Kaag.
The incensed odor of power seems to go to D66’s head. During a party congress, the party suggested that it could tackle the divisions within society with its own hands. Not a word was said about whether D66 itself might not be part of the political-social problem.
Jomanda-like scenes
There are currently quite a few problematic issues in the Netherlands. Nevertheless, Kaag’s party thinks that D66 will be the political enlightenment for the Netherlands. During the online conference, Kaag was raised on a pedestal as if she was not only the ‘new leadership’ of the Netherlands, but also the new Jomanda.
