The Catholic Charities organization is holding three vaccination events this Sunday in the Bronx.
Doses of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be distributed to people 12 years and older at St. Simon Stock Church in the Fordham Heights sector; in the church of San Antonio de Padua, in Morrisania, and in the church of the Sacred Heart, in Highbridge.
This campaign aims to bring the doses to neighborhoods with low vaccination rates in the South Bronx.
Catholic Charities of NY helps many people throughout the Archdiocese of New York. These areas include Manhattan, The Bronx, Staten Island, and the Lower Hudson Valley. If you need help during the pandemic and live in any of these areas, please call our helpline. pic.twitter.com/lmuXGuzZ2x

Precisely, given the increase in the number of cases of COVID-19, Health officials urge New Yorkers to get vaccinated
New York saw an increase of nearly 400 positive COVID-19 cases daily between Monday and Friday this week.
Across the state, cases rose to nearly 2,700 during that same period.
The increase comes as municipal departments continue to implement the mayor’s vaccination mandate.
93% of all city workers have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
But thousands of unvaccinated employees are waiting for a response on their waiver requests.
There are more than 6,000 petitions in the Police Department, compared to just 80 in the Fire Department.
