Obviously, it’s not just about climate protection. Almost 22 percent of the companies surveyed see the reliability of the power supply at risk as a result of the energy transition. Almost ten percent of all companies surveyed already have emergency power generators, and another 14 percent are planning to do so. In industry and mining, worries are considerably greater: over a third in the two electricity-intensive sectors fear the reliability of the power supply.
