Jakarta, Selular.ID – Huawei is rumored to be holding a Smart Life Product Launch event on November 17, 2021 at 19:30 local time.
A new poster released by Huawei confirms that they will be announcing the Watch GT Runner through an upcoming unveiling event.
As the name suggests, Watch GT Runner is designed for professional runners. The frame has the text ‘Sport-Lap’ engraved on the right. The smartwatch will provide users with data such as running power index, speed, heart rate and distance.
Then, the Huawei Watch GT Runner also has a round dial and promises 135 percent better GPS antenna performance. According to Why Lab, it is the industry’s first smartwatch to feature a floating antenna design.
It also supports dual-frequency 5-star precise positioning and offers marathon-level precision positioning. He also mentioned that the device is equipped with the HarmonyOS system. Other features of the Huawei Watch GT Runner are still hidden. Also, no word on the price of the device.
The Watch GT Runner moniker was spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification site last month. The listing reveals support for Bluetooth 5.2. It is also rumored that Huawei’s upcoming smartwatch will be able to measure blood pressure. But unfortunately, it is still unclear whether the Watch GT Runner will have a blood pressure tracker or not.
