The popular imitator Hernán Vidaurre not only makes people laugh in the afternoons in ‘Los chistosos’ by RPP, now he shows a different facet by being in charge of his own program ‘Cumbia con humor’, which with a year on the air has already taken over the mornings in Radio La Mega 96.7 FM.

About to turn 26 years on the radio, Vidaurre says he is delighted to connect with the public and lift their spirits by mixing music and humor from 9:00 am to noon.

“No character has been difficult for me to interview, I have had the opportunity to do parodies with presidents and even congressmen. I played with Dr. Alan García Pérez, may he rest in peace, “said the comedian, who in ‘Cumbia con humor’ is a double with Rous Valdés, a well-known La Mega announcer.

“I work like the first day, one always has to keep creating and not think that it has already peaked. Now it is a different audience, and the challenge is young people because it is more difficult to do them. With technology they have learned to be funnier than one, and it is a challenge for us ”, he concluded.

Hernán Vidaurre says that he is one hundred percent dedicated to radio and for now he has no plans to return to television. “I practically live on the radio. In the morning I’m at La Mega, in the afternoon with Los Chistosos and at night with the Conexion program, I work with professional people because I don’t like doing anything in the champa ”, he said and added that he always tries to constantly reinvent himself in these times of social media.
