The number of festival-goers who died during the performance of rapper Travis Scott at a festival in Houston, Texas has risen to nine. The family and lawyer of a 22-year-old woman announced on Thursday that she died of her injuries.

Bharti Shahani, 22, was an engineering student at Texas A&M University and was due to graduate this spring. She was in critical condition after being injured at Astroworld and passed away Wednesday night.

On Wednesday, police said at least one other person is in critical condition. It would be a nine-year-old boy who suffered heart failure and brain damage and was placed in an artificial coma. He was sitting on his father’s shoulders when he lost consciousness and fell into the crowd, his grandfather said.

Police also said the investigation could take up to a month. Eyewitnesses are being questioned and video images are also being viewed.
