Number of mobile T-Mobile customers increases by 41,000 – IT Pro – News

T-Mobile added 41,000 more mobile customers in the past quarter. The Dutch branch of the provider now has 6.89 million mobile customers. The number of customers with a fixed subscription also increased, with 14,000 customers.

In the third quarter, there were according to T-Mobile 52,000 mobile subscribers added. The parent company says that T-Mobile now has 6.894 million mobile customers; this means that 11,000 prepaid customers have left the provider or have taken out a mobile subscription. In the past three months, T-Mobile has gained 0.6 percent more customers compared to the previous quarter.

The number of customers with a fixed subscription also increased; T-Mobile now has 709,000 customers with a fixed connection. This is two percent more than a quarter earlier. The number of households connected to T-Mobile’s fiber network has also increased by two percent. Now 721,000 households have such a connection.

T-Mobile’s turnover in the third quarter amounted to 515 million euros, 6.4 percent more. Of this, 321 million euros came from mobile customers and 99 million euros came from fixed customers. The mobile branch saw the largest increase in turnover, with 15.3 percent. The turnover of the permanent branch increased by 4.2 percent. The EBITDA after leases rose by 22.7 percent to 173 million euros.
