travel in transport, do you need a COVID certificate

Additional quarantine restrictions due to the coronavirus epidemic. In particular, on transportation of passengers in suburban public transport – rail and road.

From November 22 transport in them will be allowed only COVID-safe individuals… The corresponding decision was made by the regional commission for health and safety, transfers press service of the Lviv regional state administration.

So, passengers over 18 years old during a trip in transport will be forced to have one of the following documents with them :

  • negative test result for COVID-19 (by PCR or rapid antigen test), taken no later than 72 hours before the trip;

  • an international, domestic or foreign COVID certificate confirming the vaccination of receiving one vaccination (“yellow”) or both (“green”);

  • a certificate certifying the fact that the person has had a coronavirus.

In the same time, restrictions from November 22 will not apply for transportation:

  • up to five people in private vehicles (including the driver), excluding children under 14;

  • employees with official transport of enterprises with the number of people in the cabin not more than the number of seats and provided that the transport goes along the route that the National Police was informed about two days before the flight;

  • by car in international traffic with the above documents.

Note: today in Lviv and the region fully vaccinated just over 514 thousand people, almost 786 thousand people have one vaccination.
