LUNTEREN A cyclist was seriously injured on Thursday evening in a collision with a passenger car at the intersection of Oud Erfseweg and Klomperweg in the outskirts of Lunteren.
In addition to the police, ambulance and fire brigade, the trauma helicopter was also alerted around 7.20 pm. The Mobile Medical Team arrived on the scene, where a trauma doctor assisted the paramedics to stabilize the victim.
The victim was then rushed to the ambulance and transferred to the Radboud UMC in Nijmegen under the supervision of the trauma doctor. The motorist was uninjured. The badly damaged bicycle has been placed with local residents. The car was removed by a recovery company.
