This was said by the former Prime Minister Boyko Borissov in an improvised interview in the National Palace of Culture in front of the vlogger Simeon Milkov, which was also published on the former Prime Minister’s Facebook page. To the question “Where did Angel Kunchev disappear?”, Borisov replied: “He is in hospital, sick with COVID, unfortunately.”
For several days now, there have been rumors about the health condition of Assoc. Prof. Kunchev, which he himself has denied. In a message to the “Flagman” website a few days ago, the chief state health inspector wrote: “Now I understand about these writings. The only thing that is true is my name!”
He recalled what was the situation at the beginning of the state of emergency, declared on March 13 last year.
“When we were dealing with COVID, there were no drugs, no vaccines, no medical protocol. As the saying goes, we started treatment with vitamin C in the beginning. We went through all this in one country. Respect to the doctors because they worked in an extremely difficult situation, “Borissov said.
The chairman of GERB announced that when the first doses of AstraZeneca vaccines arrived in Bulgaria, he had to travel around Europe after the scandal that they cause serious side effects. “In one day, I traveled all over Europe and brought 3 million vaccines – ModRNA, Pfizer, etc.,” Borissov said.
