‘Sleeping’ Stock Becomes a Champion, but Mini Bank Makes Investors Happy

Foreign investors from the stock market entered Indonesia with a record foreign net purchase of Rp 277.46 billion in the regular market. Meanwhile, foreigners recorded net sales in the negotiating market and cash market of Rp 31.44 billion.

YELO’s shares soared 24.43% to Rp 326/share. In the last two days, YELO shares have soared. On Tuesday (9/11) the stock jumped 33.76% and on Wednesday (10/11) jumped 24.76%.

The increase occurred as the company has set a theoretical price for YELO shares in order to issue new shares with Pre-emptive Rights (HMETD) aka rights issue of Rp 157/share.

The price is valid starting trading in the regular market and the negotiating market on Tuesday (9/11).

In the rights issue prospectus issued on November 1, 2021, YELO offered a maximum of 1,832,000,000 (1.83 billion) New shares or 80% of the total issued and paid-up capital after PMHMETD I with a par value of Rp100 per share and Series I Warrants.

Thus, the amount of funds that will be received by YEL in this rights issue is Rp 183.20 billion.

In addition to YELO shares, CPRO shares also rose 21.43% to Rp 68/share.

For the last 3 days, CPRO shares managed to rise from ‘sleep’ at the gocap level or Rp 50/share, after last moving on the exchange on September 25, 2018 at a price of Rp 51/share. In fact, CPRO shares have tended to be stuck at the gocap level since mid-February 2017.

Previously, on Tuesday (9/11) and Wednesday (10/11), the shares of this seafood product issuer with the Fiesta Seafood and Champ Seafood brands managed to take off from the level of Rp 50/share with an increase of 4.00% and 7 percent, respectively. ,69%.

The increase in CPRO shares occurred in the midst of a jumbo negotiation transaction worth Rp 960 billion in the shares last Tuesday (9/11).

As reported by CNBC Indonesia, Tuesday (9/11), trade data recorded that there were 267.5 million lots of CPRO shares transacted in the negotiating market at a price of Rp 50/unit for this issuer engaged in the shrimp farming sector.

CPRO is sold by foreigners through the broker PT Minna Padi Investama Sekuritas (MU) and purchased by the same broker, which means this transaction is a self-closing transaction aka crossing.

Of the total transactions, foreigners participated in net selling of Rp 960 billion.

At different poles, two mini-bank stocks, BNBA and BABP, both fell 6.12% and 4.35%. The weakening of both occurred simultaneously with the correction of at least 8 other mini-bank stocks.

Meanwhile, EMTK shares fell 4.61%, continuing the 0.96% decline on Wednesday. Investors still seem to be taking profit after on Tuesday (9/11) EMTK shares closed up 7.22%.
