Just over a month ago, Julian Araujo made the decision to ask FIFA to change the team in order to represent the mexican combined, news that excited the fans, since it is a position in which the team has suffered in recent years.
In an interview for Mediotiempo, his father revealed how the entire process that the LA Galaxy player went through to make this decision was like, indicating that from a very young age he was already wearing the ‘green’ and that days before announcing it he warned him of said theme.

“He spoke to me three times in a day, he told me that he wanted to go to Mexico and I only told him that he would decide, I only explained that the fans in Mexico are very demanding and he only told me that he was prepared for everything, that he was going to put more than 100 percent to please people and do my job and represent the country with dignity ”.

For her part, her mother revealed that she was close to going to La Masía with the FC Barcelona; however, the LA Galaxy prevented him, as they had plans to raise him to the first team. Guadalupe Araujo spoke about her son’s preferences in Mexican soccer, indicating that as a child he was a Chivas fan.
“The whole family has always seen Mexican soccer, almost not from Europe, but the games of the league and the national teams of Mexico and the United States have. In the family there are all teams, as a child he wore the Chivas shirt more because the uncles convinced him ”.
