According to the report of the Ministry of Health of this Wednesday, November 10, in Colombia they were notified 2,461 new cases of covid-19 in the last hours. This, after 46,273 tests were processed (20,667 of PCR and 25,606 of antigens).

That figure represents an increase over previous days. This Tuesday 2,199 new infections were reported; on Monday, 1917; on Sunday, 2,061; Saturday, 1999, and Friday, 1975.
According to data from the National Institute of Health (INS), the last time the barrier of 2,000 cases had been exceeded was on September 4, when 2,099 daily cases were confirmed.

To date, 27,210,750 tests have been processed in the country. Thus, Colombia has reached 5’021.619 confirmed coronavirus cases since the pandemic began, in March 2020.
On the other hand, the report shows 30 more deaths from the virus. With this update, the total number of deaths in Colombia rises to 127,640.
In the last 24 hours, in addition, 2,195 recovered patients were reported. Thus, there are already 4,864,547 patients who have overcome covid-19 in the country to date.
In total, there are 12,397 cases that remain active in Colombia.

Regarding the progress of the National Vaccination Plan, the health authority reported that, with a cut-off at 11:59 pm on Monday, November 8, the country has applied 49,708,227 doses of the vaccine against covid-19. Of that figure, 27,035,059 correspond to the first dose; 17,896,985, at second dose; 423,303, booster doses, and 4’352,880 are from the single-dose vaccine.
In Colombia, 22,249,865 people already have the complete vaccination scheme.
