Gamers are confusing the GameCube with an appliance in indie game

It was recently released Unpacking, an indie game focused on ambient puzzles, which puts the player to organize items, objects and furniture in different rooms.

The idea is to organize the way you prefer, but putting everything in its proper place. For example, kitchen objects need to be in the kitchen, bedroom items need to be in the bedroom, and so on. If you don’t respect this rule, the game doesn’t progress and asks you to review what’s wrong.

However, a specific phase is leaving many players stuck. That’s because they’re confusing the GameCube, Nintendo’s console released in 2001, with an appliance.

Twitter user Sanatana Mishra joked about the plight of gamers not knowing it’s an older console and wrote: “Remember those memes about things that make you feel old and decrepit? Enjoy”.

Unpacking is available for PC, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.
