Gollum from “Lord of the rings” and “The hobbit”, Neyriti and the other blue Na’vi from “Avatar” or Caesar from “Planet of the apes”: each and every one of them great examples of visual effects in the world of fantasy and science fiction film. They are the work of the company Weta Digital, co-founded by New Zealander Peter Jackson, director of the successful films “Lord of the rings” and “The hobbit”, the film adaptation of the novels by JRR Tolkien.
