In the event of “unbearable financial problems”, Pražská plynárenská offers assistance to customers in the DPI mode. At the e-mail address [email protected], these customers can contact the company with their requests related to gas payments.
–
“This also applies to a possible reduction in the amount of advances for those customers who will be interested in this, because we do not expect this step to suit everyone,” the company said in its press release. It does not state the specific form or conditions of a possible reduction of advances.

You will no longer have arrears, including VAT, warns the supplier
Last week, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MIT) and the Energy Regulatory Office (ERO) agreed with energy suppliers to reduce advances for November and December by 50 and 40 percent for clients in the DPI regime.
–
For the same period, ie in November and December, the government also waived the payment of VAT at 21 percent. This is one of the reasons why Pražská plynárenská advises clients not to postpone or reduce the payment of advances, as they would be deprived of this benefit and, on the contrary, it would complicate their situation in the future.
–
“In the case of insufficient advance payments, which do not really cover gas consumption in the DPI regime at current market prices within it, a high arrears in the final bill can be expected, the payment of which can cause very serious and difficult problems for customers. In addition, this arrears will be increased by the above-mentioned VAT, which customers would not have to pay if the advance payments were made in full and in full, ”the company warns.

CEZ offers the transition online to everyone
CEZ also came up with a novelty. It now offers an online transition to its standard electricity and gas products to all clients in DPI mode. Until now, this was only possible for customers who fell within the company’s distribution area under the DPI regime.
–
Applicants can settle a new contract with a fixed price for one, two or three years at cez.cz/dpiprevod. “If customers want to come to us from their supplier of last resort for electricity or gas, they can do it online at home, they will immediately receive a contract and have peace of mind. This is by far the easiest way to secure new supplies. People enter only a few basic details and everything is confirmed by a verification SMS, “said Tomáš Kadlec, CEO of ČEZ Prodej.
