Offenbach (dpa / lrs) – The weather in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland is calm and friendly. After the fog fields dissolve on Wednesday morning, it will mostly be clear to cloudy, said the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach. In some river plains and valleys, however, the fog could persist.
It therefore stays mostly dry at maximum temperatures between 7 and 9 degrees. On Thursday night it will be partly cloudy, partly thick fog will form. The temperatures drop to 1 to minus 2 degrees. In addition, frost should spread near the ground, and locally slippery surfaces can form.
On Thursday, the morning fog only gradually dissipates during the day. Most of the time, however, it remains sunny. The temperatures reach a maximum of 5 to 8 degrees during the day.
