American rapper Travis Scott, whose concert killed 8 people on Friday, will pay all funeral expenses to the victims’ families. Its producer stated this in an official statement. At the same time, they will also refund the entrance fee for both days of the festival.
The families of victims of Friday’s tragedy at Travis Scott’s concert in Houston are now experiencing hard-to-describe grief. Eight people lost their lives in a crowd, and the rapper, who did not stop the concert despite requests for help, now wants to reimburse the families.
“My brother was lying on the ground. People were shouting ‘stop the concert’. No one stopped the event. Music producers, security guards, none of those who were there. I lost my brother because of that,” a relative of one of the victims described the situation.
The musician has teamed up with a psychological counseling center, which will provide the necessary support to those who request it at his own expense. The concert was attended mainly by young people and for parents who lost their children at the event, money is not enough as compensation.
“During the first day of the festival, eight concertgoers died and dozens more suffered serious injuries. One of those killed was 21-year-old Axel Acosta. “Explained family lawyer Tony Buzbee.
Families affected by the tragedy decided to act. “We will file a lawsuit on behalf of 35 plaintiffs,” Buzbee added.
Police are still investigating the case. According to the first investigation reports, the ambulance was called around half past nine in the evening. The singer finished the concert for the tenth time.
