In April, a criminal gang attacked Apple supplier Quanta Computer and stole design schematics for a 14-inch MacBook Pro. Vasinsky and his accomplices demanded a ransom of $ 50 million from Apple. REvil posted the ransom demand on its website, but the group deleted the message a few days later.
Vasinsky is also suspected of participating in the July attack on the software manufacturer Kaseya.
