Stacyian Jackson is experiencing her second season as a member of the Vienna Burgtheater ensemble. The stage makes you happy.
Stacyian Jackson was born in the Netherlands, more precisely: in Rotterdam. Her parents came there from Jamaica and made it their home. Jackson loves this city, “because it made me who I am today,” she says with a smile. Rotterdam has a lot of strength. The people there are direct, sometimes a little tough, but always honest, she says. Exactly the right place for a bright child like her. “I started speaking before my first birthday. My parents were very surprised and thought: This girl keeps going. ”
So that she could live out all her energy somewhere, she sent her mother to the youth theater school at the age of five. She has never lacked in self-confidence. She owes this to her parents: “They said to me from an early age: ‘You, Stacyian, you are wonderful. You can do anything, you can achieve anything. ‘ And I have this feeling too, of course it has to remain realistic. I feel strong I am blessed and happy because I got everything I wanted. “
