Denis, last spectacular friendly match against Torcy (3-3). Are you satisfied?
This opposition against Torcy represented our second and last preparation match before starting the championship and we therefore chose the option of starting in a real situation with 16 players. I draw two main lessons from this match. The first is that we are not ready to perform 90 minutes and the second is more positive and offers good prospects when we are. We led 3-1 logically enough without being able to drive home the point and at the end Torcy came back to score (3-3). It was a very intense match.
Is starting the championship with Paris Saint Germain a way to quickly get in the bath?
It’s just great for us to start at Lodge Camp. I see it as a chance and an opportunity to immediately confront ourselves with the best in training. The whole group is talking about it. We will enter the competition with optimal motivation.
How did the preparation go?
We experienced some concerns related to the health situation at the end of the internship in Brittany. The group was placed in solitary confinement for 10 days in order to get off to a good start, and it was necessary. We were therefore unable to play our first two friendly matches in Brest and against Paris FC. We all got together on Monday with great pleasure and we were finally able to play our first friendly match two days later in La Louvière.
