Saturday evening, 2nd theatrical evening of the year for the association “In § Off” which offered the piece The three mythos .
Big success with an ever-increasing number of advertising, proof that the idea of bringing the theater to our little corner of Gers is welcome.
After a squeaky comedy, “The meal of the wild beasts”, the association returned to pure comedy by offering “The three mythos” by Samir Hamdani with Eric Rolland, Tony Lannone and Samir Hamdani.
In those sensitive times, it was risky to write a comedy about a roommate between a Jew, an Arab and a Breton, but Samir Handami tried it!
Successful bet, thanks to the practice of self-mockery and a second degree that work wonderfully!
No one is spared and the clichés about Arabs, Jews and Britons thus pass very well with the public, Jewish, Arab, Breton or other!
Small summary of the play without saying too much either because the troupe continues its tour throughout France and those who missed the evening may be able to see it soon.
Loïc, – the Breton obviously! – cop from the BAC or almost … who has just divorced has decided to look for roommates.
Introduce themselves Rachid then David – we will not tell you who is who! – who immediately move in with Loïc.
Relations between Rachid and David are difficult but the roommate will become even more explosive when everyone’s secrets are gradually revealed!
We will not “spoil” the end which puts the three mythos on an equal footing!
Loïc wears a striped sailor top, David an “I Love money” t-shirt and Rachid a tracksuit and sneakers!
The tone is set, we will play thoroughly on the clichés by practicing the second degree.
The lines burst forth, the rhythm is frenzied and the actors camp their respective characters wonderfully.
Special mention for the author of the play, Samir Hamdani, perfect in his caricature of Rachid, the eternal looser while naivety who prepares a heist by playing Mario Kart and chooses a neon yellow balaclava.
But David who negotiates the price of the rent if he accepts to be familiar with is not bad either …
As for Loïc and his more than murky past, he completes the trio perfectly!
A cascading evening of laughter!
Next evening of In § Off on February 19 with the play A week no more but we’ll get back to you.
And in the meantime, write down the date of November 23 at the Auch municipal theater at 8:30 p.m .: the La Boîte à Rire team, sponsor of the In § Off association, will perform Françoise Royès’ new piece there “The green tornado”.
La Boîte à Rire is the room Desperately looking for pigeon that In § Off offered to you in September 2020 and A neighbor who wants you well that the troupe had played in Riguepeu this summer.
The story: “Jérémy, inveterate flirt, got to know Ursula on a dating site. Tonight is the big night, she accepted his dinner invitation and he hopes to conclude!
But now, Ursula will come with a friend, so she has to find a fourth thief and for lack of anything better, it will be Raoul, her next door neighbor, a nerdy old boy and not very futile!
Ursula is late … but not her friend! The arrival of Verbena, an ecological vegan extremist will revolutionize the evening of the two boys.
Will they resist the green tornado ??? !!! “
