In Kiev, quarantine violators are massively fined

Kiev police check compliance with quarantine norms

The metropolitan police for a week made more than one and a half thousand administrative materials for violating the quarantine rules.

In Kiev, over the past week, police officers compiled 1,351 administrative materials for violating quarantine rules. About it informs Kiev Police Communication Department.

“Together with employees of the State Consumer Service, Ukrtranssecurity and municipal security, the police checked catering establishments, shopping and entertainment centers, entertainment venues, cinemas, ground and underground transport and other public places,” the statement said.

It is specified that the main task of the raid groups is preventive work. In case of detection of offenses, the police draw up administrative materials.

For violation of quarantine restrictions, liability is provided for under Art. 44-3 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.

Over the past week, the police have compiled 1351 administrative materials – 90 protocols and 1261 resolutions.

Raid teams have conducted over 3,800 checks. Among them there are 1733 objects of economic activity and 2270 – public transport.

Earlier it was reported that Ukrainians who had recovered from COVID-19 will be able to get a digital certificate about recovery.
