The Orihuela City Council has proceeded to the provisional closure of an establishment located in the district of La Aparecida for non-compliance with health measures against the coronavirus, in which, among other issues, the presence of a hundred people dancing and without a mask was detected.
The reasons for the closure, decided by the Department of Urban Planning in collaboration with the Department of Citizen Security, have been the exercise of activities without the opening license and the breach of closing hours and public health measures by the coronavirus.
As reported this Saturday by municipal sources, the Local Police, before the complaint of some neighbors, appeared at 4:00 a.m. on August 29 at the premises, where the agents verified that an event was being held and told in the parking and surroundings about fifty vehicles.
Once inside, they found a hundred people dancing, consuming drinks in bars and not complying with covid regulations, since no one present was using the mask.
The agents repeatedly informed the owner that there was a serious breach of current sanitary regulations, and after several disagreements with him the premises were evicted.
The owner was required to present to the Local Police the documentation related to the opening activity and civil liability insurance, among other documents, but he did not do so, so the patrol raised a report-complaint and left the place.
However, around 5.45 am, neighborhood complaints about the same premises were received again, explaining that the volume of music was once again very high, so the Orihuela Local Police traveled again, accompanied by the National Police.
Once there they verified that the volume was very high and there were only a few people inside collecting, at which point the owner of the premises appeared and, after a new disagreement, they proceeded to arrest him as the author of an alleged crime of attack against an agent of authority.
