Beijing practices destroying US carriers

PEKING – A gigantic aircraft carrier stands in the middle of the Taklamakan Desert in northern China. And it’s not the only ship standing there in the 270,000-square-mile sandy desert. From space, Maxar satellites have spotted two large cruisers in the same desert that look a lot like ships from the American Arleigh Burke class, whose guided weapon systems are a formidable adversary to any seafaring nation.
