The athlete Venezuelan Keydomar Vallenilla won the gold in the Pan American Weightlifting Championship in Guayaquil, Ecuador, in the 96 kg category.
Vallenilla made the 3 good moves at the start, leaving the figures of 164, 169 and 174. In addition, set a new national, South American and Pan American record by lifting 214 kilograms.
