Injured in the right forearm Thursday night against the Indianapolis Colts, New York Jets quarterback Mike White should be recovered in time from his injury for the next game, the team announced.
White was injured in the first quarter in a 45-30 loss, four days after throwing three touchdown passes and for gains of 405 yards on his first start in the NFL.
White watched the final three quarters on the sidelines, after throwing a 19-yard touchdown pass to Elijah Moore to tie it 7-7.
The Jets will play their next game on November 14 against the Buffalo Bills. Rookie quarterback Zach Wilson, who was nursing a knee injury, should be able to return to the game, which will force head coach Robert Saleh to decide who White or Wilson will be his starting quarterback.
