Scandalous changes in WWE NXT

Although it seems a lie, WWE has decided to radically change one of its best products and after an intense wave of layoffs, the modifications that will be made in NXT are scandalous.

Last September WWE debuted the new NXT 2.0 concept, leaving behind the wonderful product created by Triple H and improved by his friend Shawn Michaels. Now that Vince McMahon, Kevin Dunn and Bruce Prichard are in command, the show has become a caricature of what it once was, but as if that weren’t enough, there are outrageous changes coming to the company’s talent contracts.

Recent changes and layoffs in WWE NXT and in the future

As reported by various sources, it seems that now NXT will have trial contracts for the new talent, with 60 days of observation, for which, if the fighter does not convince the coaches, he will leave the company without having signed full time.

This type of contract greatly affects young fighters who bet everything for an opportunity in the WWE, leaving their homes and their countries of origin. There will be only a few who can take the risk in this modality.

In addition, it has been reported that with the new administration, every six months there will be a new round of layoffs, where the company will release the talent that did not follow suggestions or did not evolve according to the wishes of the managers.

The main problem is that those managers are now Vince, Kevin and Bruce, and they have proven to have serious problems with managing content for a new generation, therefore, they could force the talent to become a difficult product to see and give up their true talents.

To all these changes, we can add the age limit, since the development brand will now only sign young fighters under 30 years old, but in the case of women, the company will become even more strict, since the limit would be the 24 years old, with a few exceptions.

Five years ago NXT was the world’s hottest brand of professional wrestling, with the best of international talent. Today, his future is uncertain.
