“Cooperation with Sejj Carter was terminated by mutual agreement. Unfortunately, he failed to show his mastery due to injuries. The sucker suffered an ankle injury even before arriving in Valmiera. In the last game against “BK Liepāja” he injured this ankle again and now it needs surgery. For him, this season is also over. I wish Sejej success in his career and a speedy recovery, ”quoted Robert Zeile, the team’s general manager, on the club’s website. Carter also confirmed that the season is over for him due to an ankle injury.

In parallel with the release of Carter, Valmiera Glass / Vidzeme University College has signed an agreement with Darius Klark. Clark is 31 years old, comes from America and plays in the head of the match. Last year, he represented the Vahakni City basketball team and won the title of champion in the A-League of Armenia. It should be mentioned that Clark was recognized as the most valuable player in the finals. In 2013, he also participated in the NBA draft, which was not selected. Clark has seven years of experience playing basketball professionally across the ocean and now he is determined to win the “Valmiera Glass / Vidzeme University College” shirt.

The general manager of the team was uplifted about Clark’s joining: “With the release of Carter, we were forced to look for a replacement. That’s how we found Darius Clark and we are very happy with this addition. We hope that Clark will be able to give the team the small part that we still lack to achieve the goals we have set together. “

Klark is also quoted on the club’s website: ” I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Valmiera basketball team. This club is progressing to reach the top among Latvian basketball clubs as soon as possible. I am ready to help you achieve this! I am really happy to join this club – great things are waiting for us! ”
